Unilumin wishes happy Thanksgiving to all

God bless all the turkeys around the world and especially the ones in the United States and Canada. The nightmare of this flightless bird, Thanksgiving Day, is just around the corner and Americans as well as Canadians are all getting ready to find the biggest turkey to roast and carve.

Celebrated on the second Monday of October in Canada and on the fourth Thursday of November in the United States, Thanksgiving is the equivalent of Chinese Moon Festival also known as Mid-Autumn Festival.

A few other countries such as Grenada, Liberia and Saint Lucia also observe the Thanksgiving festival. In Germany, the festival is celebrated in early October and is known as Erntedankfest. Though it still remains primarily an American and Canadian festival.

The festival is celebrated to give thanks for the blessings of the year’s harvest and gives yet another reason to the families to forgive, forget and reunite. Given the modern times, the festival gives families a reason to get together and share a meal, share family anecdotes and have a good laugh.

In the United States, traditional Thanksgiving festival is celebrated with close family members and friends gathered for a good home cooked meal, primarily consisting of a roasted turkey and for dessert usually a pumpkin pie is served.

Whether someone is a city dweller or living in the countryside, they may be farmers or engineers, Thanksgiving is celebrated with equal enthusiasm in every household in the United States and Canada.

This age-old festival still holds its value in the hearts of the residents of these two countries and while they are sharing a meal with their loved ones and thanking God for the happiness in their lives and love in their hearts, Unilumin would like to thank its patrons for their continued support and trust in us. We are honored to have them as a part of Unilumin’s family and will continue our efforts to provide them with cutting-edge technology display solutions. For Unilumin’s team in Amsterdam, Florida, Moscow, Mexico and for our headquarters in Shenzhen, we wish you a very happy Thanksgiving. May the smiles on your faces and the joy in your hearts last forever.
